In looking at the latest results, it looks like at the end of the day, Clinton will end up tied for Second with Edwards, which takes some of the sting out of the day for Clinton and amounts to an even bigger loss for Edwards.

The Des Moines Register (linked above) has one tally in which Edwards is at 29.82% and Clinton at 29.42% and another in which they have rounded up both to 30%.

More significantly, however, is the fact ABC news has Clinton winning one more delegate than Edwards (for reasons that are unclear to me at the moment). If that is the case, Clinton is the second place finisher.

The fact that the delegate counts are as close as they are also points to the fact that the Obama win was not quite as dramatic as the media wants to make it out to be.
