  2. I’ve seen 1.98 in Greenville at one place and two places in town here but the latter two are back at 2.03 now. There’s one place here at 1.99 still but they also were supposedly selling gas for over $5 bucks when you went into pay even though the outside sign said 2.89 back right after Katrina. They denied the report (which was filed with the state AG.)

  3. I paid 1.97 in Ohio at the Flying J just off the Interstate 71 between Columbus and Cincinatti, one exit North of the Outlet Mall.

    I’m betting/hoping the cost will drop below 1.80 before Christmas.

    Maybe Steve Forbes is right about the oil price bubble breaking.
