    2. I wouldn’t be so sure that most of Scozzafava’s vote will go to Hoffman. I think Hoffman had already secured the very conservative part of the electorate. Remember, this is a district that voted for Obama in 2024 - undoubtedly, much of Scozzafava’s support came from moderate Republican ticket splitters. I don’t think their vote for Hoffman is assured - Owens was much more conservative on some issues than Scozzafava, after all, and he is likely to garner some of her vote.

      It will be interesting to see what happens on Tuesday, to be sure.

    3. However, I believe that the district has been Rep for House for some time. Granted, not all of Scozzafava’s vote will go to Hoffman, I would wager than most of it will.

      Granted, it would be extremely interesting if Owens pulled out the win.
