Via WaPo: Roberts Listed in Federalist Society ‘97-98 Directory!!

From the story:

Supreme Court nominee John G. Roberts Jr. has repeatedly said that he has no memory of belonging to the Federalist Society, but his name appears in the influential, conservative legal organization’s 1997-1998 leadership directory.

Kevin Drum describes it thusly:

this is about the lamest excuse for a nano-scandal that I’ve seen in a long time

I like that: “nano-scandal”-that’s just about right, methinks.

Although I will say that given the strenuous denials that Roberts was ever in the Federalist Society does make this something that Roberts/the admin will have to dance around.
