Ok, so two of your three children have come down with stomach crud and each have, um, erupted twice. What do you feed the third children knowing that he may too may come down with said ailment?

All I know is that it won’t be anything red.

  1. Very little? Maybe then they won’t throw up (as much).
    And don’t forget liquids.

  2. The trick will be to convince Mr. I’m Having a Growing Spurt that he doesn’t need all that much in the way of dinner!

  3. Does he eat rice? That’s nice and bland.

  4. Well, I hope he hasn’t vomited yet.

Maybe make a breakfast dinner - pancakes, toast, eggs . . . that stuff, while filling, isn’t messy if he insists on eating something. Make toast an important part of the meal - that’s supposed to go down easy.

Spaghetti is right out. As is V8 (I highly doubt keeping V8 from your kids is an issue, though).

  5. So far, so good.

He wanted Spaghetti-Os (or something in that family), but I nixed that one for sure.
