    1. Oops, my name isn’t “Jeff Doolitte” it’s “Jeff Doolittle!”

      Comment by Jeff Doolittle — Monday, August 9, 2004 @ 1:15 pm

    2. What? You want accurate typing?

      Man, people are demanding.

      Comment by Steven Taylor — Monday, August 9, 2004 @ 1:16 pm

    3. Steven,

Great “SciFi” edition! Where could I buy “Latinum” bars?! I am demanding too! ;) “Eminent Domain” instead of “emient"… I am still wondering about the origin of the word. Do you have clue?

      All the Best,

Martin Lindeskog - American in spirit.
Gothenburg, Sweden (a.k.a the socialist “paradise")

      Comment by Martin Lindeskog — Monday, August 9, 2004 @ 2:07 pm

    4. Martin,

      I shall fix said typo.

    5. Steven,

No worries! I had to comment on it after reading Jeff Doolittle’s comment! ;) It is a strange word, don’t you think? ;)

      All the Best,
      Martin

      Comment by Martin Lindeskog — Monday, August 9, 2004 @ 2:16 pm

    6. Yes, it is. Made worse by the fact that the word “imminent” sounds identical to my Texan ears ;)

Good luck with the socialist paradise, btw.

What’s the unemployment rate in Sweden these days?

      S

      Comment by Steven Taylor — Monday, August 9, 2004 @ 2:25 pm

    7. Hodwy Steve,

Don’t mess with Texas, hey? ;)

I would prefer to be in the Land of Opportunity instead.

The unemployment rate in Sweden was 5.8% in June according to Statistics Central Bureau.

      Martin

      Comment by Martin Lindeskog — Monday, August 9, 2004 @ 3:09 pm

    8. Ok, that’t lower than I would have expected. Cerainly better than Germany’s.

      S

      Comment by Steven Taylor — Monday, August 9, 2004 @ 3:12 pm

    9. Steven,

Yes, it is lower than many other countries in Europe, but my guess is that you have to add several per cent of hidden unemployment figures… I will try to explain it in an email later on.

      Best Premises,
      Martin
