  1. So ironic that it is almost certainly not valid.

    Hamas’s victory is likely to reinforce the view that there is no good negotiating partner on the other side, and so the only solution is unilateral withdrawal, which is precisely the Kadima plan.

  2. I was only thinking in a marginal sense. Hamas’ win could send a few more votes Likud’s way, for those who believe that the unilateral appraoch is appeasement of terrorists.

    I hardly see a massive electoral shift.
