  2. That it’s that high is surprising and encouraging that the Hamas victory won’t make too much of a dent in the Kadima lead (which has been about 1/3 of the vote in most recent polls). I had feared that Kadima could be threatened by Hamas’s showing. Of course, we’ll have to wait for new Israeli party-preference polls to know for sure. And March 28 (Israeli election day) is still a long way off.
