  1. Yes, TO is very upset with his $49 million contract. Incredibly, the talking heads at ESPN seem to think that TO and his agent are winning the PR battle against the Eagles management. Well, I would like ESPN to begin interviewing some of these people who are siding with the “impovrished” millionaire, because I have yet to meet a single person who is on his side.

    They think that because TO and his agent are the only people who have been willing to talk to the talking heads at ESPN. From their standpoint, that’s “winning the PR battle.” The average fan, OTOH, doesn’t agree, as evidenced by every online poll they’ve put out on ESPN.com about the issue. Overwhelming majorities of voters (understanding all the caveats about online polling) say the Eagles should NOT renegotiate.

    I agree with you, Mark. But what does the average fan have to do with anything, anyway?
