Florida Senator Bill Nelson might as already claim victory now. Any slim chance he had of losing is now gone, as the Florida Masochist has noted that
Katherin Harris will have no opposition in the GOP primary.

So: congratulations to Senator Nelson on his reelection.

It would be a smarter move for Harris to spend her $10 million buying ten million packs of gum for the gum-deprived children of the world than it would be to spend it on this campaign.

Up until about six months ago I lived in Harris’ district (Sarasota, FL), and worked in the building next to her office.

By the way, is it wrong to pretend that you’re a Republican, and then arrange a free, guided tour of the U.S. Capitol building for your wife and yourself from the congressional aide of a congresswoman whom you plan to actively oppose in the next election?

Not that I’ve ever done that. ;)

[...] government’s savings and loan bailout. Of course, this really doesn’t change my projection for Florida’s Senate race.
