To add to the previous post:

There are several questions on the test that are supposed to be gimmes.

Someone missed this one as well:

The US Congress is bicameral. This means
a. That congress has one chamber.
b. That congress has two chambers.
c. That congress is part of the bifurcation of power in Washington.
d. That congress is part of a system of checks and balances.
e. That congress has both Republicans and Democrats in it.

I think I will go in the corner and sob quietly.

    2. Jay Says:

Didn’t we cover this in 7th grade?

    3. Jay Says:

Oh, and I recommend ice cream for making yourself feel better. Mmmm… ice cream.

    4. Scott Gosnell Says:

“Bicameral.” Can you say that? I mean, isn’t it discriminatory to even mention it? Kind of a “don’t ask, don’t tell” thing?

      Isn’t Madonna bicameral?

    5. Maniakes Says:

      f. That the congressional vehicle pool owns exaclty two camels.

    6. The Misanthrope Says:

This should have been a true or false question. The answer is false. For the past four years Bush and the Republicans have done their best to turn a bicameral Congress into a singular goose-stepping body.

Sarcasm aside, when Jay Leno did his “Jay Walking” segment a few years ago and asked people how many states are in the union many did not know. I thought this ridiculous and went into the office and asked people, many did not know. I had to be kind about letting them know they were wrong. I suppose to some extent we get the government we deserve.

    7. bryan Says:

This is easy. The congress has two cameras to take photographs of the congressmen in their suits to put on their cheesy web sites.

    8. paige Says:

Five bucks says these winners vote democrat. There is a reason the right is called the right.

    9. Bamacrat Says:

hah, I’m currently taking my final graduate class with Dr. Rinehart. I’m kind of glad he doesn’t have a blog, I’d hate to see that paper I just turned in on the net for the world to laugh at. :)

    10. paige Says:

Five bucks says these winners vote Democratic, well, that is if they can even understand how to vote. Filling in circles does seem to be a challange for them.

    11. Alabamian Says:

Stupidity knows no political party, Paige.
