Via Reuters: U.S. Contractor Kidnapped in Iraq

An American contractor was kidnapped near Baghdad on Monday, the U.S. embassy said, raising fresh concerns about security in Iraq where more than 150 foreigners have been abducted by guerrillas over the past year.

That appears to be the extent of the details, except to note that no one has claimed responsibility.

The rest of the story is a patchwork of info on a car bombing and the Pakistani hostage taken over the weekend.
