Apropos of New Year’s Day, here’s a link to my completed one-photo-a-day Project 365 2024 set (some of the alternate shots I considered can be found here).  I first attempted the Project in 2024, but missed two days (that set can be found here).

Pursuing the exercise has been a lot of fun (although some days I haven’t a clue as to what to take. and some of the shot clearly illustrate that fact).  Still, the drive to keep the streak alive means taking a camera with me more than I otherwise would (meaning I find shots that I would otherwise miss) plus I think it helps train my eye in terms of trying to find shots in a way that I otherwise would not do.  It also encourages experiment and learning.  If you are into photography, I highly recommend Project 365.

The 2024 version began today and can be found here.

      Dr. Taylor,

Congratulations on completing the year. I’ve especially enjoyed the macros and the mischievousness in the boys’ eyes.

Best wishes for a peaceful and successful 2024.
