Via CNN: N. Korean leader pardons U.S. journalists.

As was reported earlier today, former President Bill Clinton went to North Korea today to seeks the release of two US journalists who have been in prison in North Korea, “Laura Ling and Euna Lee, both reporters for California-based Current TV, a media venture launched by Clinton’s Vice President Al Gore.”

I hope that the Blogosphere doesn’t get caught up in Clinton’s involvement or the Gore connection and is simply pleased that these women have been freed from the nightmare that they found themselves in.

Har. I didn’t bother hoping because I knew that no matter the outcome, Clinton would get bashed. Tonight I flipped on Hannity to be greeted by Hannity and his “Great American Panel” (including one “Democratic Strategist”) discussing how Clinton having secured their release is bad for American and legitizes the N. Korean regime.

How anyone can take such a partisan hack seriously is beyond my ability to comprehend.

    I forgot the weirdest part.

One of the panelists made some bizarre and incomprehensible point about Bill Clinton not having negotiated the release of Daniel Pearle.
