We now have some poll numbers on a potential Toomey v. Ridge primary fight for the GOP nomination for Senate candidate

Ridge 60
Toomey 23
Undecided 16

I must confess that I am somewhat surprised by that spread given the conservative-swing in the GOP base in PA. Still, Ridge has substantial name recognition.

Contra the Quinnipiac poll, this one has Ridge beating Specter:

Ridge (R) 48
Specter (D) 41
Undecided 10
