Sidewalk Art

365.120.

Taken in front of my building at Troy University. Whatever they used to paint this is pretty resilient, as it has survived several gully-washing rain storms. I don’t know what it is supposed to be of, but I keep thinking "Peacenik Jesus" every time I see it. That may be sacrilegious, but honesty is honesty.

Wasn’t Jesus a self-described peacenik? I’m not religious, but whenever my inlaws drag me to church, peace seems to be the dominant theme of the sermons.
