365.10: Taken in Jackson Square in NOLA.

There were several of these pieces from Mardi Gras floats outside the LSU museum on the square. I really wasn’t sure what to make of them (and was taken aback by the blackface), and found some information on Zulu here: http://www.kreweofzulu.com/.

They were, if anything, very New Orleans.
