Despite The Guardian’s report that Hillary Clinton has accepted the job of Secretary of State, there have been no other confirmations of the report.
Indeed, a CNN write-up from yesterday didn’t sound as if an announcement was around the corner, and the NYT underscores the problem of vetting Bill.
While one ponders whether or not a formal offer has been made and accepted, I would recommend Ezra Klein’s thoughts on the SoS job and Hillary in 2016 as well as James Joyner’s rundown of endorsement of Hillary for the job over at the New Atlanticist’s Policy and Analysis blog.

if Hillary becomes the Sec. State, hopefully she will not be excessively distracted by outside drama or personal career plans, etc.
