Via CNN: Belief that country heading in right direction is at all-time low
“No other president’s disapproval rating has gone higher than 70 percent. Bush has managed to do that three times so far this year,” Holland said. “That means that Bush is now more unpopular than Richard Nixon was when he resigned from office during Watergate with a 66 percent disapproval rating.”Before Bush, the record holder for presidential disapproval was Harry Truman, with a 67 percent disapproval rating in January of 1952, his last full year in office.
That’s a remarkable feat, to be sure.
Further:
The 83 percent saying things are going badly is “more than in 1992, when the first President Bush was ousted because of the economy, stupid. That’s more than in 1980, when President Carter got fired after the malaise crisis. That’s more than in 1975, after Watergate and the Nixon pardon,” said Bill Schneider, CNN senior political analyst.Sphere: Related Content

For the sake of our collective conscience we incline ourselves to agree and convince others with great disdain at his fallacy! However, in truth we are all to blame
for the rut we have purchased. Together, by turning a blind eye to watching our jobs and money exported north and south, east and west. I here them cry foul for America and Americans for the war they started! And with that same mouth do they arrive on our step with begging hands demanding equality and succor at her ailing bossom. No friends, you have no grasp at the extent to which your jobs and tax money has gone to feed and aid those who cast the first stone at the sight of hostility. While you squabble and point fingers at our leaders for the results of their actions you fail to question those actions that have indeed brought us all to our knees. NAFTA! You perpetuate ignorance and nothing more! So continue with your pathetic accusations of war crimes and starve!
