I wish I could claim the high ground as a more responsible citizen, and say I watched…. but nope. Couldn’t dig up the interest.

I fail to see how listening to a showboating president (whoever it may be) in a ritual of one-way communication and spin is a mark of good citizenship. Or of being a good political scientist.
Now if he had to take and answer questions from the floor, that would be another matter…
