I’ll believe that when I see it.

There has been much talk out of this Congress in terms of its willingness and ability to defy and investigate the Bush administration, and on balance those attempt have been anemic at best, if not nonexistent. Indeed, apart from House Intelligence Committee chairman Silvestre Reyes saying that the Congress will investigate (when the administration doesn’t want them to do so), I am not sure that one can identify any serious defiance here, and the track record suggests that none is forthcoming.
