Yet another example that raises an ongoing question: who have most anti-terrorism policies annoyed the most, terrorists or American citizens….

Certainly it seems that most of these policies have done a far better job of making it more difficult for everyday Americans to pursue their lives than they have in stopping terrorists in pursuing theirs…

    3. The blame should rest squarely on the shoulders of an inept DMV, not the law. They deserve the reputation they have.

      But that is part of the point: you can’t divorce the law, or the intentions of the law, from the execution of the law.

    5. However, you can improve the execution of the law and judging a law by it’s execution may be the wrong way to go about it.

    6. Yes, laws can be improved. But, aside from execution, how else would one propose evaluating a law?

      And this is far from the only example of resultant idiocy from the rush to make us safe from terrorists.
